MACMILLAN CANCER RELIEF:

Joe's doctor consultant haematologist Dr Paul Kelsey is gearing up for a gruelling cycle challenge to raise funds to benefit cancer patients across the Flyde coast.

Dr Kelsey will be joined by colleague Mark Wrigley, a chief biomedical scientist at Blackpool Victoria, in the Macmillan Cancer Relief Brazil Cycling Challenge 2004.

Their marathon journey this October, will involve cycling 700km in just eight days, battling against sweltering temperatures and riding through rain forests and over tough terrain.

It is not the first time that the pair has taken up such a challenge. In 2001 they cycled 500km across Ecudor and raised £12,000 for the Macmillan Windmill Appeal.

Joe thought it would be a good idea to put the charity details on the site incase anyone would like to make a donation.

Please send donations to:
