24.09.04 JOE'S PERSONAL AWARDS AND GOLD DISCS WERE AUCTIONED ON EBAY AND RAISED JUST UNDER £10,000 FOR MACMILLAN CANCER RELIEF In an overwhelming gesture of generosity Joe decided to auction his many awards and gold discs to raise much needed funds for cancer research. The proceeds will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Relief. The auction was a great success and attracted hundreds of bids. There was also much interest from the meda with features both on the BBC and ITV with many of the national newspapers picking up the story. Joe would like to thank all of you that supported the auction and is elated that almost £10,000 will be donated to the charity.
